Prepress Spooler is a configurable hot folder-based workflow tool designed to collect files for processing and conversion.

The primary function of Prepress Spooler is to convert standard workflow TIFF separations into TIFF separations compatible with Kodak output software, such as the Xpo output console, eliminating the need to purchase the open TIFF license from Kodak.

Additionally, Prepress Spooler can be utilised to render PDFs and PS files to composite or separated TIFFs, move files between systems, and perform various renaming tasks.

• Convert standard separated TIFF files from any prepress workflow or RIP into Kodak XPO TIFF format, enabling any prepress system to connect to a Kodak CTP system without the need for additional licences on the Kodak TIFF output system.
