Angles

• Optimise angles for Flexo Printing and customise to any required angle.

Dot Shapes

• Special dot shapes such as pincushion available with the Flexo Option.

Hybrid Screening

• Special hybrid screenings available with the Flexo Option:
  • Shifted Hybrid Screens: Shift screens to reduce moiré on output.
  • Pillar Hybrid Screens: Use larger pillar dots on low-end tints to protect highlight dots when interacting with the anilox roller.

Post-Processing Tools

1. Ink Spread Compensation: Aimed at flexo and inkjet markets, this feature protects small vector objects in areas of high dot gain, creating clearer detail on small objects.
   • Adjustable pixel settings to optimise results.
2. Dot Chunk Removal: Removes small dots of data below a specified size, ideal for flexo printing.
3. Texture Replacement: Adds texture to solid areas to help transfer more ink and achieve greater ink density on printed material.
   • Configurable as dot-based or line-based textures.
   • Textures saved as external bitmaps and importable into the RIP system.

• This pre-distortion tool calculates compensation for press distortion based on cylinder details and plate thickness.

Seamless Printing

• Ensures seamless joins in continuous printing, such as wallpaper, by adjusting the screen to prevent visual clashes.

Lower Screen Limits

• Allows for printing dot percentages below a specific size at a specified value, e.g., preventing dots under 5% from being generated on the flexo plate.
